We’ve moved – for the first time in 9 years, I don’t have cars in front of my windows, and I have a kitchen with an actual table in it. It’ s wonderful! we still haven’t painted every room, but as of last week, we do have a functioning bathroom with a tub and no more lead plumbing. And my memory of the old place is already fading!
The only major problem is the phone line, like, I don’t have one yet. And it looks like I’m going to be offline for another two weeks. No blog-reading, no extended reading of the summer knitty issue, and I’m too busy unpacking and painting to write e-mails (sorry, sockpal!)
I’m only half way through the foot of my first sockapalooza sock, but I know that things are going to settle in soon, and I’m ready to get a lot of knitting done. And I’m longing for some more spinning!
My sockpal is getting a pair of burgundy Baudelaire socks in Regia Silk, if I haven’t told you already…
